Lío Mehiel — Actor, activist, filmmakerLío Mehiel hired me to help them go pro as an actor. We both took a leap of faith: I needed a place to stay and Lío wanted a guide. We bartered coaching for six weeks of housing. It worked.
Lío’s film got funded. The film got into Sundance, winning awards, lifting Lío up with it. Lío Mehiel became the first trans actor in Sundance Film Festival history to win Best Dramatic Actor. They continued to win awards, book work, and deepen their foothold in their activism and the filmmaking world. Lío Mehiel is now living in New York city with their person, building a good life and gardening their world.
Miracles are among nature’s most natural fruits, when we lead with love and step boldly into the unknown with little more than trust, surrender, and commitment holstered by our sides. Magic follows radical bravery.
Anonymous Ohio GuyAnonymous Ohio Guy hired me to help him figure out who he wanted to be when he grew up (his words). Through our work together, he felt closer to God. He self-sabotaged less, which helped him to hold down a job long enough to cash in when the company went public.
Before the company went public, he got a vision from God pulling him towards nature. When he became a momentary millionaire, he bought land to help families be safe in nature. He also learned an important lesson about shallow shopping (“I shouldn’t have bought the ‘vette.”). Curiously enough, he launched near when there was a huge chemical spill near Ohio.
I like this story because he followed his own inner compass towards God, building land like he was Noah building an arc. When the first flood came, he was ready. He followed his vision and God supplied.
And lo! Another Anonymous SoulFeeling like an absolute legend after not one but two engagements fell through, Anonymous Wedded Woman took a chance on working with the village loon (me) to see if we could shift a vibe. To our mutual delight: we could, and we did.
When we started working together, she met two men she could see herself marrying. While she embraced a personalized edition of the Bachelorette franchise (and I grabbed my popcorn), we unwound the layers of things that came up when we follow our heart’s true inklings. She picked a winner, they got a dog, and they were happily married last fall.
I like this story because my client got to experience a profound amount of choice in a space where she’d felt less empowered. She wound up with two strong options, sifting and sorting and metabolizing the experiences in ways that helped her come home to herself.
